We hold deep compassion for all who rely on Route 80 for their daily commute and send heartfelt prayers for a safe and swift resolution to this stretch of highway.

In recent weeks, the appearance of multiple sinkholes along Route 80 in Wharton, NJ has shaken the community—both literally and metaphorically. Roads have closed, traffic is diverted, and even nearby apartment buildings are showing cracks and instability. As concerning as these physical events are, they also carry a potent symbolic message for those who walk a spiritual path. When the earth beneath us opens up, we are invited to do the same within ourselves.

There are moments in life when the ground beneath us shifts, and we are forced to look at the world—and ourselves—through a new lens. One of those moments for me happened in 1994, a year that started with uncertainty and heartbreak but became the catalyst for my spiritual awakening.
